Assorted Mystery Snail Eggs
Mystery Snail egg clutches containing assorted colors of snabies. Choose the quantity you desire.
Mystery Snail eggs must remain out of the water in order to hatch. If they are submerged for more than a few seconds, the baby snails inside will drown.
Upon receiving your egg clutch(es), check to see if the paper towel under the clutch is still damp. If it is, simply float the container in your tank, taking care that it doesn’t float toward your filter outflow. If it isn’t, drip the water from your aquarium onto the paper towel.
If the container is kept too moist, the clutch will mold. If it’s too dry, the eggs will dry out. Both of those situations will result in your sneggs not hatching. Due to those circumstances, we cannot guarantee your clutch(es) will hatch. Not all of the eggs in any given clutch will hatch and we cannot guarantee a specific number of hatchlings. We also cannot guarantee specific colors.
Clutches can hold up to 200 snabies each. Be sure to make arrangements for where they will go, once they’re big enough to rehome. If shipping, we recommend a minimum shell diameter equal to the diameter of a dime. If you’ve made arrangements to give them to your local fish store (LFS), they can be just a bit larger than a canned pea.
We recommend hatching your snabies into a breeder box to ensure the highest survival rate. Finding the food is much easier for the tiny snails in a breeder box than in your tank.
We feed our snabies Blewb Food, canned no-salt green beans, and smashed Snello as starter foods.
DOA:
In order to claim DOA, you must send us pictures of the clutch within 20 minutes of the arrival of your package. No exceptions. We evaluate on a case by case basis.
If the box has been significantly damaged in transit, please file a claim with the delivery service.
