This listing is for 1 Tank-Bred Blueberry Snail (aka Viviparous sp.). Morgan breeds and raises these snails in community tanks in her home. As tank-bred snails, they are far hardier than the wild-caught variety you’ll see sold everywhere else.
Your new blueberry snail will come with a basic info and care sheet in the box.
In their current home, these little guys are being kept in a tank with 7.8 ph, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and roughly 40 nitrates. The tank is kept at 74*F. They’re fed our patented Blewb Food twice per week, in addition to the algae and scavenging available in this seasoned tank.

We do not accept returns or exchanges. However, we do have a live arrival guarantee. We guarantee our snails, shrimp, and plants will arrive alive. On the off chance your snail perishes during shipping, please follow our DOA claims instructions below:
Send a picture of the snail hanging limply out of its shell or a picture of the empty shell within 2 hours of the arrival of your package. A short video of you crushing the snail will also suffice.
*** SITUATIONS THAT VOID THE DOA GUARANTEE ***
1.) Choosing Ground Shipping at checkout. Ground shipping takes longer to arrive, thus putting more stress on the snail(s). If you choose a shipping method through the USPS, the DOA is void.
2.) Package is unsuccessfully delivered on the first attempt (I ship to the address you provide me; it’s your responsibility to ensure the address is correct). If the shipping company is unable to deliver on the first attempt, the DOA is void.
3.) Not opening your package immediately upon delivery. Once shipped, a tracking number is provided; it’s your responsibility to be at the delivery address to open your package as soon as it is delivered. If the package is not opened within 2 hours of delivery, the DOA is void.
4.) Package is lost due to package thief. (If this happens, please contact your local FedEx, UPS, or USPS to file a claim).
5.) Not providing the above, required proof of death within the 2 hour time window. If proof that the snail(s) you received from us arrived dead is not provided, the DOA is void.

We ship on Tuesdays primarily using FedEx 2 Day so the snails don’t sit in a postal facility over the weekend. Orders placed by 8:00 pm MST (Mountain Standard Time) on Sunday will be shipped that Tuesday. Orders placed after that will be shipped the following week.
Our shipping fee includes insulated packaging and a cold or hot pack as needed, depending on the season.
